The Drakeford Company will begin sales of their North End Square Townhomes starting this next week. After a year of anticipation and refinement, this new development in the Greenville Neighborhood less than a mile from the Uptown will begin sales. The first phase of sales will feature 26 townhomes and 12 condos in this latest development to hit the Uptown. This development will be the nicest most affordable living option to people looking for more space for less money near the center of the city.
North End Square will feature 78 2 and 3 BR townhomes and condos that will be priced from the $180’s-$220’s. The condos will be approximately 1,170sf and the townhomes will range from approximately 1,400sf- 1,900sf. The townhomes will be brick on the front and sides with hardi-board on the back. Every townhome will have a private fenced patio off of the rear with optional balconies. The condos will feature balconies off the master bedroom as a standard. Units will feature 9’ ceilings, 42” cabinets, hardwood in the entry and kitchen, tile in the bathrooms, security pre-wire, and CAT5 wiring as standards. 12 units will feature optional detached 2-car garages on select units in site. Overall, there are just over one and a half parking spaces per unit with assigned parking spaces for each unit. Sales are scheduled to begin publicly on February 20th but will be available through me earlier with prices being released days before. This development is the first of several planned developments targeted to the more mainstream buyers who want to be near the Uptown without the Uptown prices. As the higher-price point developments struggle, one can nearly be assured that these more affordable townhomes and condos will sell well and see appreciation over time.
